I am sensitive to food, the quality of food, and ingredients in food. If something goes even slightly wrong my body responds to it terribly. I immediately have a sensation of nausea followed by a terribly painful migraine-type headache and I end up with no choice other than lying in bed for hours.
I once happened to go through this while I was with a master of mine. He observed this and introduced me to a yogasana (posture) called Pavanamuktasana. It’s a very simple posture, a part of Hatha yoga (you can google it and learn how to do it). It’s a very powerful posture which improves the digestive system, strengthens the lower back muscles and loosens the spinal vertebrae. It was a quick remedy to my problem.
I don’t know how many of you are this sensitive to food. If you are, try this posture which gives immediate results. It’s scientifically known to improve digestion and will help you quickly get back to normal.
Today, along with the master who introduced this to me, I am grateful to the technique of Pavanamuktasana which has its origins in Hatha yoga.
