I’m not sure whether it is the same for all of you, but when I check my wardrobe the majority of my clothes are of one colour, in my case blue or shades of blue.
I’ve loved the colour very much since I was a child. Many times I’ve thought about why I lean towards bluish shades, maybe because I love looking at the sky, I love the ocean. Blue represents vastness, it is so serene, it brings small possibilities, it triggers the imagination – things like that probably inspired me to tend towards the colour, and knowingly or not I happen to choose blues.
The back cover of my cell phone, the shoes I may choose, the belt I use – blue pops up in many places, it doesn’t mean that I only ever choose blue but the majority of my choices are blue.
Some historians say that thousands of years back the ancient civilizations of the world had no colour called blue, or there was no word for the colour blue.
On the other hand, psychology says that blue is a colour that represents conservatives, reliable people, thinkers, they’re not impulsive, they’re loyal, and cherish peace and harmony. I don’t know whether these things are applicable to me or the blue lovers but that’s what many studies say about those who like blue.
Today I am extending my gratitude to that beautiful colour which always brings me comfort, confidence, and happiness.
