The city I live in has been under lockdown for the last few days. In order to fight the second wave of covid, it’s evident that people, systems and the government are trying their best.
Fortunately, since the lockdown was announced I haven’t needed to go outside for anything. I’ve been making sure that I’m in absolute isolation.
This time what enables the day-to-day functioning of the lives of people, especially the purchase of essentials, is the strong and flawless home delivery system in place.
From large delivery players to local grocery shops, everybody is willing to deliver the goods we need to our homes. Some have apps for that and some simply operate it via WhatsApp. Regardless of the medium, they execute the delivery really well.
During this time what I’m deeply acknowledging is the service of the delivery executives. They meet hundreds of clients like me, risking their lives.
At the end of the day, by and large, we all hustle to satisfy our hunger!
Today I’m extending my gratitude to the delivery agents who make the lockdown a less frustrating one.
