I happened to read the famous quote by the American entrepreneur and author Jim Rohn that, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
I personally love this perspective. It’s a very sensible scale for our self-auditing.
If we really want to change our positioning, I think we should be careful about spending time with people because ultimately they are going to play crucial roles in the making of our destiny.
I think it’s applicable to our virtual world too, whether it is on social media, or messengers, or even our call list. We can easily find the five people with whom we spend most of our time online. And they are going to influence us no matter what.
Going ahead, let’s be wiser while spending time with people.
I’m grateful to Jim Rohn today for this groundbreaking thought.
