I knew that a friend of mine had started getting into a new initiative, almost 21 months back.
Almost 18 months back one day he discussed the project with me. Things were looking good in terms of numbers on paper though I had this instinct in me that something was wrong and it wasn’t going to be a beneficial one for him.
He asked for my opinion about the initiative and I frankly shared my perspective and feeling about the project.
I sensed that my friend didn’t like my opinion though I had a sense of satisfaction in my mind that I told him what I genuinely felt.
After 18 months he called me today and told me that what I was said was right and it didn’t work out well so he was dropping the project. (Not because of the pandemic but for some other reasons.)
I felt happy about talking with my friend and I sensed the same friendship that he had 18 months ago.
Today my gratitude goes to my friend who acknowledged that my instincts were right.
