Today a friend of mine was talking about a plant which comparatively needs a very little amount of water to survive.
It’s name was also interesting – Devil’s Spine.
My friend told me that even if we plant the leaf it will grow into a new plant which made me notice its leaves.
It was quite similar to a plant which is well-known to me, especially in my childhood – Bryophyllum.
We extensively collected and used the leaves of this plant to rub and clean the slate-boards when we were in kindergarten.
These plants were quite precious to us and the guys who had more Bryophyllum in our classes were considered rich because it was a great asset of that time.
Like any other material possession, it was in demand and there were even fights for Bryophyllum in our class.
Some guys were so generous in sharing their Bryophyllum with girls and extending their help during scarcity that sometimes they forgot their homies 😉
Bryophyllum brought me beautiful memories of my childhood and made my evening!
My gratitude to Bryophyllum for the wonderful experience and memories.
