I have always loved the thought of contributing towards afforestation but circumstances did not allow me to do it up until three years ago.
For the last three years I’m quite satisfied that I’ve been able to make a contribution because I was able to seek the service of an organisation that has a vision of planting millions of trees in the world.
They provide us the facility to pay and they also email us the registration details of the tree that has been planted, its GPS location and even satellite views of it. They keep me updated on the growth of the trees planted.
In all walks of our lives we shamelessly consume the products which make many trees and plants disappear. With this, our humble contribution makes a small difference. We can adopt plants that will become become large trees.
I have encouraged my friends also to do the same and last year we as a group planted over a hundred trees and we keep watching them grow.
Today I am extending my gratitude to the organisation that is facilitating this amazing movement and brings us a great sense of satisfaction while we take part in afforestation.
