I was listening to an interview of an executive coach who was talking about the art of leveraging fear in one’s self.
I somehow thought that being absolutely fearless is what brings us fortune but this gentleman’s talk slightly altered my perspective.
He said, “One should always have a healthy respect towards fear,” and he added that the moment we acknowledge the fear factor in us rather than ignoring it, it makes us act more wisely, which eventually makes us take “calculated” risks instead of blind ones.
This perspective made me think a lot about the fears we have, this also seems like a very sensible approach to me.
Let’s acknowledge our fears, if any, rather ignoring or simply suppressing them.
I’m extending my gratitude to the gentleman who introduced me to this perspective.
