House of Cards, one of the earliest series on Netflix, is one of my all time favourites. The ruthless politician Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) is the pillar of the show.
I was casually watching some random episodes and, among many of Frank’s firebrand statements, there’s one, in particular, that’s among my favourites:
“Power is a lot like real estate. It’s all about location, location, location. The closer you are to the source, the higher your property value.”
I was repeatedly watching this scene which blew my mind over and over again!
It simply states the significance of the proximity we have to keep with the sources of power, which eventually defines our power and value in the business of life.
Today I’m extending my gratitude to the makers of House of Cards and especially to Kevin Spacey for making my day with this intoxicating thought!
