Today I met with a friend of mine. We were discussing some stuff in a coffee shop. He ordered a black coffee and I asked the waiter if they had a vanilla shake.
The waiter said, “Sir, we don’t have vanilla shake, but we have a drink which is a milkshake with vanilla ice cream and pieces of crushed watermelon. I asked him, “Will that work, will that cause me stomach problems? I have never tried this and it’s my lunch.” I hadn’t had my lunch actually. He told me it’s good and my friend and I carried on with our discussion.
After 10 minutes he brought the shake. I took a couple of sips and it was very tasty. Later he brought the black coffee for my friend and when he was serving it I told him, “Bro, it’s really amazing, I never expected it to be this tasty.” He smiled, said thank you, and left.
Then my friend asked me, “Oh this is, that, right?” I asked him, “This is what?” He said, “Oh, you wrote about admiration or something like that in your 365 days of gratitude series, no, maybe last week? So this is that, right?”
I actually laughed, I told him, “Bro, actually, see I never construct a post and act on it after that, I personally try to create content from my life and experiences and the way I live.”
Anyhow, I felt so happy that this friend recollected things that I have been writing and he easily recognized it and matched it to the situation.
So, yeah, I felt really happy and I am extending my gratitude to that friend of mine for this wonderful afternoon talk and this lovely mention of one of my older posts.
