I was reading an article in the HBR (Harvard Business Review) on the repeatability of businesses. The sustainability of the business we do, whatever kind of business it may be, absolutely depends on the repeatability of the quality factor which you showcase as your unique selling point (USP).
It’s a simple observation but I found it very interesting. That it is applicable in our day-to-day life is what made me think it’s more beautiful because every one of us will have some special quality, talent, or skill. Sometimes we may perform extremely well with it on a particular day, at a particular time, but the repeatable core competency that we have as an individual or as an organization is what will decide the destiny of ourselves or the organization.
So it’s great to have a core competency or a unique selling point which can be repeatable without a compromise in quality in order to have a successful plan for both an organization or for ourselves.
