day222 – Tactics v/s principles

I happened to go through some notes I scribbled in my diary from a sales workshop I attended over 8 years back. The trainer was a globally acclaimed coach and author.

He differentiated between the tactics and principles of sales.

Tactics are more manipulative and have a short shelf life whereas principles are based more on values like integrity, respect and responsibility.

I felt like I should share this very fundamental difference with you and today I’m extending my gratitude to the coach who has influenced the sales enthusiast in me.
