We know that philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence. I happened to read again the French philosoper Joseph de Maistre’s famous statement on democracy, that in a democracy people tend to get the government they deserve!
It is a hypothetical conclusion arrived at without many rational and logical matrices, but when we look at countries across the world, and state after state, it’s quite evident and true that every region is ruled by the exact kind of government it deserves!
In fact, this simple but universal statement made me read and learn more about Joseph de Maistre and I’m extending my gratitude to him for his contribution to the world.
