I was an active member of the mathematics club in high school and the mathematics teacher who headed that club was also my class teacher. Fortunately, I have been able to be in touch with him since then.
Today on WhatsApp he shared with me that today is quite special, it’s Pi day. Pi day is the annual celebration of the mathematical constant Pi and is celebrated on March 14th. 3.14 is a minimal or general value we use to calculate Pi in simple arithmetic problems.
I thanked him in the morning for sharing this cute but very interesting fact with me. Then he also shared that the 14th of March is the birthday of Albert Einstein and the death day of Karl Marx and Stephen Hawking. That was an interesting coincidence and a lot of information in a single day.
Today I am extending my gratitude to my mathematics teacher for his love, blessings, support, and for everything he’s done.
