It is a fact that nowadays most of us are underslept. We want long deep sleep but often we miss it.
There’s a quick fix which is a power nap. A power nap is a magical way to refresh our mind and body from tiredness and sluggishness. A nap that lasts around 20 to 40 minutes is considered a power nap and it enhances our physical and mental productivity.
Recently I read that most Chinese companies insist that their employees take an afternoon nap which makes them more productive. I thought about one of my class teachers in school who, even two decades back, insisted that we take a nap after lunch. I’m not sure whether she read any of these science journals but she was practically correct.
Personally, I am a person who practices power naps especially during the times I travel and days when my sleep gets disturbed.
Today I am gratefully remembering the teacher who made me experience the power of a power nap at a very young age.
