I have seen people who wish to do things or get things done in a manner like a straight line. Sometimes even though things get done, such people are unsatisfied and even refuse to appreciate the result or the favorable outcome at the end because it doesn’t follow the line they have drawn in their mind and doesn’t happen in that manner.
I too had such a perspective in my life, especially in the first two decades. But later experiences taught me that the phenomenon called life, it just keeps happening. And all the other phenomena which make life possible on this planet are also not aligned in a straight line – it’s great chaos, an amalgamation of chaos, chaotic processes and reactions that makes life and this planet alive. At the same time there’s a line of sensibility that runs underneath all actions though things may seem chaotic on the surface.
So the way to get out of this discomfort is to just try to be volatile. The moment we transform into a volatile state we will easily fall into place even under unpredictable situations and circumstances which makes the process of life easier and grateful.
Today I felt I should thank the experiences that triggered the quality of volatility in me. I strongly recommend you to try this state of being and I am sure you will enjoy it.
