Sometimes you may have unfinished movies in your collection that you watched for a few minutes, and you planned to finish watching but paused for some reason. It’s the same with some books, tasks, plans, initiatives, some projects, habits, studies, efforts, engagements, and things like that.
It may happen that because you couldn’t finish it and paused you feel stuck with it, and you are unable to continue because you want to complete one thing before you move on to the next.
In life, progress is what matters, not completion or perfection. Whatever holds you back from moving ahead you must ignore and keep going. If you can’t finish a movie it doesn’t mean that you won’t finish the next one, the same goes for a book, course, plan. If you couldn’t complete it, it doesn’t mean that the next plan won’t work, it doesn’t mean that you have to desperately finish what you started. No…if you find it uncomfortable then pause it, ignore it, pick the next one and just move on.
The beauty and the core essence of life is mobility, its dynamics! It’s movement that makes life beautiful. Wherever things get stuck it results in clutter which might make a bad scenario worse.
Years back a friend of mine who seems to be one of my masters, with all respect I consider him like that, passed this gem of thought and when I tried this in my life I found it an amazing tool to live life joyfully.
Today I happened to remember my friend and extend my gratitude to him for this groundbreaking thought.
