I used to experience and even communicate with some of my friends the fact that some friendships are eternal and it’s like they’re on a plug and play mode. Such friendships don’t require constant follow-ups and communication, we can have enough time between two engagements and when we get connected it remains as fresh as ever.
Today I happened to have a word with a friend of mine after 8 years or so, this lack of connectivity was even discussed between us 8 or 9 years back, but later we both got busy with our own things and we couldn’t actually communicate in person, though we knew each other’s updates through social media and platforms like that.
When we connected today over a call, it was just like a continuation of the conversation that we had 8 or 9 years back. It was as refreshing, original, intense, genuine, deep, subtle, as beautiful as it was. I don’t know how many of you have such friendships, but I am blessed to have many such friends in my life.
Today I am extending my gratitude to this kind of friendship and the friends I have on this planet which makes me truly rich in that context for sure.
