When I was very young, maybe 5 or 6 years old, there was an amazing book at home. It was written in my mother tongue. The name of that book was “Why, Why and Why”. It was an amazing book with pictures and short descriptions of anything and everything about the world.
Why we see stars only at night, why the color of blood is red, why the rain only falls downwards, why seawater is salty, why humans have no tails like monkeys….
That book was an amazing gift from my parents. There was no Wikipedia, I didn’t have access to much larger encyclopedias, but this was a fantastic book I had, and for no reason the name of this book popped up in my mind. I thought, yes, I must express my gratitude to that book.
Today I am gratefully remembering this book which gave me answers to many of my questions, paved the way to my inquisitiveness, and inspired me to seek and learn and understand the cause behind every effect.
I am sure there are some books like this that you might have cherished in your childhood, you can share those gems here….
