Recently I happened to notice a session by Robin Sharma, the renowned personal development coach. He talked about a simple but very effective method to bypass anxiety and depression in human beings.
People feel depressed when they think they are not worthy and when they think there is nothing good happening in their lives.
So, in short, what Robin suggests is this – keep a journal with you if you have anxiety or symptoms of depression, and every night when you go to bed write down three good things that happened to you that particular day. It could be a movie you watched, it could be nice food you had, it could be a phone call from your friend, it could even be a butterfly you noticed in your garden, it could be anything, no doubt – three good things happened that day.
Robin says that if you do it for a couple of weeks, and if you evaluate this journal at least once a month, you will understand that there are a lot of amazing things happening in your life.
I felt this was a very sensible thing to do, and I thought I should share this perspective with you guys. So today I am extending my gratitude to Robin Sharma for this wonderful idea.
