Many of us drive cars and ride motorcycles and some of us, of course, might fly choppers and aeroplanes and even sail ships and boats and whatnot.
Driving is an art, it gives you freedom, it helps you to save time. But the process of driving itself is therapeutic. When we drive, almost all of our sensory organs, except our ability to sense taste, are involved in the process – our sensory organs are constantly alert, we are continuously working, coordinating our motor actions and intellect, and other cognitive abilities during that time. A combination of complex calculations is made every moment we are behind the wheel.
So, of course, it is a meditative experience if we involve ourselves in driving with ease. It’s a wonderful tool to make your driving process a mindful one, especially when you do it alone.
I personally like driving. Sometimes, of course, I like to drive alone for long, that’s a beautiful experience, it helps you bring more clarity to your vision, it liberates you, it’s a fantastic process to rejuvenate ourselves.
Today I am grateful to the masters who taught me driving, and I personally recommend all those people reading this who are unable to drive or are afraid of driving, please learn driving, or if you already know driving, go practice and experience the essence of it.
